DEIDRE WEEK
The kindness and sympathy shown to us by our relatives, may friends and neighbors during the sad and sudden loss of our dear, sweet Deidre has been a deep comfort, as were the many cards of condolence, floral tributes, and memorials.
Special thanks to Deb and Dennis Dederich, Bonnie Holtz, and all the other Vesper EMT’s, and First Responders, the Flight Team, Dr. Mikel, ER Staff and Chaplin Don Wilger at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
To Reverend Jake Close for a very special service, music sung and played by Catherine Stuttgen, Janet Rzepiejewski, Amy Walker and Ginger Prokos, and the organ and piano music by Betty Johnson and Mary Probandt.
Thanks to Kristin Kolo and all of her classmates for being such good friends to Deidre, also the tributes spoken at the church service from everyone meant so much to us.
To Deidre’s uncles as pall bearers who carried her to her rest, sincere love, you were all so very special to her. To cousin Julie, for the pink balloons released at the cemetery, it was very special.
Thanks to the ladies from the Methodist church who donated food and served lunch. Also, to the friends and neighbors who brought food and comfort to our families’ homes. For the continuing support from the Vesper 4-H groups and school staff and all the beautiful pink ribbons, this shows us how much Deidre was loved.
Thanks to the Sheriff’s Department and all news media for their efforts. Also, the Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home for their very kind and efficient service.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
Or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray,
If so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
As any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just though of us that day/
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much, whatever the part.
-In Tribute to Deidre-
To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me…
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years,
I gave you my love, you can only guess,
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown,
But now its time I traveled alone.
So, grieve a while for me if you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
Its only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on,
So, if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see me or touch me I’ll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile and say “Welcome Home”
I Love You…

Deidre Week
